Been back in town for five days and I’m already ready to bounce again. I’m trying to keep myself occupied with projects and obligations. Just signed up to work on John Kerry’s campaign, and Nancy Farmer’s senatorial campaign as well. Just for shits and giggles, I’ve signed up for Missouri Republicans and George Bush’s campaign, just to see if the call me back.
I was invited to be in a training camp for political activists and campaign volunteers this weekend. I accepted but the organizers haven’t called me back. I went to Camp Carnahan in 2000, which was educational and disillusioning all at once. It always is when us according to Hoyle activists learn how politics really work.
The Saint Louis Marathon is also this weekend. I want to shoot it, but that means getting my ass in gear by 6AM on a Sunday. The marathon is a qualifier for the Women’s Olympic Marathon team, so there should be plenty of really hot, athletic chicks with lots of endurance in town for the weekend..
