People in the service industry who end every sentence with “today“.
“Would you like a drink with that, today?”
“Can I bring you an appetizer, today?”
“Would you like to order dessert, today?”
Assuming that there’s something I want that I have somehow forgotten to order, when other than today would I want it?
Sometimes I just wanna say, “No. I would not like dessert today, but I would like it a week from Thursday. Can I place a standing order and pick it up around noon?”
LOL! I would so pay to watch you do that….
