Okay, so Saturday I went to The Forty Acres Club, a nudist colony about an hour and a half out of town, with , , and Draga’s friend Amy. It was my idea and the first time for all of us.

You know that feeling you get when you see a really hot chick breast-feeding? Okay, maybe you don’t but go with me for a second. You know how it’s sexy, but equally beautiful and life affirming and practical and not sexy? Well, multiply that by a hundred and you kinda get the gist of the nudist colony experience.

I can’t speak for Amy, but I’m willing to bet that this was the most naked people any of the rest of us had ever seen at one time. Which is saying a lot when you consider that me,   and   are kinda the unofficial St. Louis Public Nudity Mod Squad (Draga doesn’t get naked in public, but he is perhaps the biggest catalyst of public nudity west of Spencer Tunick).

There was a naked jazz band, and naked horse-shoe tournament, but we spent almost the entire day at the pool. The funny thing was how totally comfortable I was the whole time. After about five minutes, I totally forgot I was naked, despite (or because of) the fact that everyone else was.

Not to be outdone, Rose (who’s usually naked in a room full of clothed people) tied Amy’s sarong over her face as a burka in a successful attempt to be the center of attention in a freakin’ nudist colony. Added to which, none of us new anyone there, but on the way out we kept running into Rose’s friends. Gotta love her.

Hysterical, especially if you know her.

David. Did I never invite you to roam the Midwest’s various pagan lands?
