Sometimes I’m inspired to take a particular photo of a particular person. Recently I had a great idea for a somewhat elaborate photo shoot with a particular woman. I asked if she was interested and she said no. Now, I’m pretty fond of this idea, and I could just plug another model into the shot, but the photo wouldn’t mean the same thing without the woman who inspired it, so I’m kinda screwed.
Such was the case with this photo of erotic novelist Marie Haynes. I conceived this photo for her and since she’s the only erotic novelist I know, had I not met her, this photo probably wouldn’t exist in any other form with any other person. The text behind her comes from her second novel, Tasting Pleasure. Her latest novel, What’s Your Pleasure, will be released March 22nd
