I just watched Richard Donner’s cut of Superman II and Richard Lester’s cut of Superman II back to back so that I could compare and contrast them.
On a related note, I would like to publicly thank every woman who has ever had sex with me. Sometimes I marvel at the fact that I am not still a virgin.
I never realized there was more than one director’s cut of that movie.
When I was about 9-10, we got HBO (cable was a new thing for me), and I remember that the same movies were shown over and over and over…Superman II was one of those movies. I loved it. Even as an adult I couldn’t see Terrance Stamp as anything but General Zod, even when he receiving accolades for Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
General Zod is such a pimp.
