So, I’m watching Slow Motion Train Wreck with Adam Carolla. Oh, my bad, Too Late with Adam Carolla. It’s painful how unfunny this show is. My favorite part is when he tells a joke and he pauses for the laugh break and there’s dead silence. It happens a lot.
Adam Carolla is the Monie Love of comedy: outstanding as a guest star, but solo, not so much.
His show makes me long for the stellar comedy of Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn.
I could only stomach ten minutes of it and had to change the channel because I felt sorry for the guy.
Funny that you bring that up. I was just talking to a friend last night who said he was watching that and felt bad because he was only getting laughs from about 10 people in that audience.
Screw The Man Show, he needs to get back together with Dr. Drew for television.
I agree. That’s what got me about Too Late. I had just heard the Love Line radio and he was really funny. But there, he’s got Dr. Drew and a bunch of confused teenagers to play off of.
