The NonProphets

If you haven’t seen The NonProphet Theatre Company’s sketch comedy show, The Militant Propaganda Bingo Machine, well, you’re missing out. And I’m not just saying that cause some of them are friends of mine. Luckily for you the show runs every Thursday night at 9PM at The Hi-Pointe.

I’m an old-school comedy snob and notoriously poker faced when confronted with the mildly amusing, and I can recommend this show without hesitation to anyone who likes to laugh and is not easily offended. Sometimes political, often politically incorrect and almost always hilarious, The Non Prophets combine the edgy humor of the old Saturday Night Live with the audience participation (and cult following) of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Doors open at 8PM, and it can fill up fast:

  1. I’m glad that you enjoyed the show so much!
I was at the shows every Thursday night before I moved to San Francisco in March – still keep up with the NPs by way of their website. 🙂
Great photos – thanks for sharing them!

  2. I was supposed to go with Draga…..
but once he mentioned that it was like Mal, Kirsten and Bob’s birthdays – I felt like I would be crashing the party. You know whenever you know someone well enough that if you were in the same place you’d sit together – but not well enough to be invited out?

    Maybe next week.

Good thing you didn’t go. You would have been crashing the party along with the rest of the Hi-Point, silly girl.
