WTF? Now, to the best of my recollection, it’s been years since I’ve said more than “hello” and “goodbye” to this girl. I’m assuming she’s just over-reacting to my strange behavior at Venus Envy.
So I call her back and she tells me that the last time she saw me, I told her that I hated her, that she ruined my life and that I want to kill her. All I remember is running into her on my way out of Mokabe’s, her giving me her phone number, and meaning to call her. You’d think I’d remember professing hate for someone and threatening to kill them. I can only assume that I was joking and that I thought it was obvious, but according to Angela, it scared her.
Then she asked me about my ex girlfriend Andrea, who I broke up with 10 years ago, at a time when Angela and I weren’t even in contact. It turns out she’s sold her mother’s house to Andrea’s boyfriend, the guy that she was dating right after we broke up. Weird.
