After suffering fully clothed through a (admittedly mild) Saint Louis summer, I came to the decision that I would wear just enough clothes as was legally and meteorologically necessary. Of course having made this decision, the temperature has plummeted about forty degrees in the last two days. I used to streak in parks the first of spring every year. Then, when I moved to the South Town, I was within walking distance to a huge park, so I would cut through the park at night and walk home naked. Dressing and undressing in the park at night can be cumbersome when you’re wearing a great deal of clothes to begin with, so I started wearing less and less as a matter of practicality. Lately I’ve taken to traveling barefoot in just a pair of swim trunks. Since I’ve started working second shift, I sleep most of the day and the only places I go at night are to A.C.’s house and to the gym, so being dressed is kinda’ pointless anyway. Now the battle between exhibitionism and hypothermia begins…
