The Legendary K.O. delivers powerful message against George W. Bush Through Song
“George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People” Receives Widespread Acclaim
As the world has seen and heard by now, rapper Kanye West expressed his frustration at the Katrina relief efforts and his thoughts on U.S. President George W. Bush last week during a nationally televised benefit. While his thoughts and statement have received much attention, a rap group from Houston, The Legendary K.O., has taken it one step further and recorded a song, entitled “George Bush Don’t Like Black People”, using the Kanye West “Gold Digger” instrumental.
I don’t think George Bush cares about most anyone who isn’t rich and owns a big company. I heard that donations took a drastic decline directly after Kanye West made those comments. I was pretty pissed when I saw the looting vs. finding pictures too, but then I read this: http://www.snopes.com/photos/katrina/looters.asp and I can see how it really wasn’t all the racially motivated stuff people made it out to be.
Listen, I know this white girl has no business talking about what is and isn’t racially sensitive, but do you think he might have done more harm than good. Every time I hear some asshole conservative talk about how the liberals are on the wrong track about the hurricane situation, they always bring up how ridiculous Kanye West was. All in all, I think he kind of hurt our cause.
I think the grammar was kind of unfortunate.
