So my family is pretty much in total chaos.
I’m embroiled in this political and theological debate that has caused someone to quit my prayer group.
And the poetry slam is in a state of near ruin.
How exactly did my life fall apart between Sunday and now?
I’m sure we can think of a way to blame it all on the Bush administration
Families……….. not much you can do about them
poetry slam….. well, you know poets
What saddens me is that your prayer group is disintigrating. It is sad to see politics in the way of faith. Maybe that is why I am an atheist.
Your life is still intact, it is the fragments of your being that is being stretched to its limits. It will do this, you being a caring person. Life goes on.
it’s poetry slam meltdown season. all over the country, spring is arriving and slammers turning on each other. it will pass, it does every year.
*hugs* that’s all I’ve got….
poetry slam last night…
I would not say the poetry slam is in a state of near ruin….last night was the first time I had ever been to one and it blew me away! I had an amazing time and want to thank you for letting me know of the event and also to the poets who were so open, honest, courageous and witty. I admire you all and feel lucky to have been a part of it. I’m sure you will find a new venue soon, if for no other reason than I am impatient and want to go to another poetry slam after my first experience! Thanks again.
