I want to preface this by saying that I’ve found legitimate work as an actor, writer and photographer on Craig’s List. However, one of my favorite pastimes is trolling the site for lame posts by total posers.
This filmmaker keeps going on about how his film will be submitted to the Sundance Film Festival, which is kinda like telling a loan office that for collateral you are going to buy lottery tickets. Then he says that several of his previous films “have made there way to Sundance,” but since he doesn’t say that his films have screened there this sounds a little suspect. Like if I sent my demo tape to Def Jam via US mail and said that my music has “made its way to Russell Simmons.
But what takes this post form mildly amusing to re-post worthy is that since he’s not paying people, at the end he lists Sundance as a form of compensation!
To some people it is at least early in there careers hes playing on the feeling of being a part of something.
Its all hes got and well if hes done other films i am sure its worked before
