Nothing Could Be Further From The Truth

 
I love when politicians respond to reasonable if inaccurate accusations by saying, “Nothing could be further from the truth.” Really? Nothing? Just once I want the interviewer to follow up with, “If I accused you of being a space alien hell bent of the annihilation of the human race, that would be closer to the truth?”
